What this site collects, in plain English.

When you load a page on sect31.com we log the page URL, the referring URL, your approximate location (country / region), your browser and operating system, the time of the visit, and an anonymized view of your IP address. We use Google Analytics 4 for this, with IP anonymization enabled. No personally identifying information is collected from your visit. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept analytics via the banner; if you reject or ignore the banner, the analytics cookies never set.

When you submit the form on /demo we store the name, work email, company, role, area of interest, and attribution source you provide. We use that information to schedule the walkthrough and follow up afterwards. We do not sell, share, or rent it. It is retained for the duration of the sales conversation plus our standard business-records retention period, after which it is deleted. You can also request deletion at any time before that — see "Your rights" below.

When analytics consent is granted, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies named "_ga" and "_ga_<measurement-id>" for the purpose of distinguishing unique visitors and sessions. These cookies expire after 13 months. No other tracking cookies are set by this site. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings, or revoke consent below to prevent them from being set going forward.

Google (Google Analytics 4) processes the visit data described above on our behalf, under their Data Processing Terms. Page typography is self-hosted (no third-party font CDN). We do not use ad networks, retargeting pixels, session-recording tools, or behavioral-profiling services anywhere on this site.

You can ask us what we have stored about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop processing it. Email trust@sect31.com from the same address you used in the form and we will respond within five business days. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK-GDPR, and the CCPA respectively; the same email address covers requests under any of those frameworks.

Demo form submissions are stored in our customer-relationship system with encryption at rest and access limited to engagement staff. Analytics data resides with Google under their security commitments. Engagement data and credentials provided during a Section 31 engagement are governed by the more rigorous protections described on our trust and compliance page.
